Welcome to Bushey Gan
Bushey is a close-knit community and our nursery has always reflected that warm family feel. For over 30 years now, we have been caring for the youngest members of our neighbourhood. We try to make everyone feel a part of the family - from children, to staff, to parents.
Early years
The early years offer an incredible opportunity for learning and development. Our staff are dedicated to ensuring that every child who walks through these doors leaves with the knowledge and skills to carry them through school years and life beyond.
We follow a carefully tailored curriculum that is designed to teach each child according to his or her individual needs and interests. Balancing adult-led lessons with child-led activities allows us to boost healthy development, and social and emotional skills of each child.
The community
Working so closely with the United Synagogue and the local community allows us to inspire children with pride for their Jewish heritage. Besides our daily nursery activities, we host regular events for the wider community, where we celebrate Chagim (festivals) and connect with our roots.
Werton Group
In January 2025, we joined Werton Group, a childcare organisation that specialises in running nurseries for communities just like Bushey.
The Werton ethos align perfectly with Bushey Gan’s beliefs; valuing early education, community integration, and individual child development.
We are proud to partner with Werton Group to bring fresh innovation to our nursery, ensuring we are at the forefront of modern early years education while staying true to the values and ethos that have always defined Bushey Gan.

With 35 years of experience in childcare and a Level 4 Montessori Qualification, Tania does a fantastic job of leading our nursery.
Fun Fact: Three of Tania’s grandchildren have attended Bushey Gan!
